This isn't an offer to run a PbP game for Curse of the Crimson Throne...but rather an expression of interest in joining one if any established DM is considering such a campaign here on Paizo's messageboards. I know it's premature...given that the first issue of the AP hasn't even shipped yet. But I wanted to throw my hat into the ring as early as possible. I'm an everyday poster, so I'm looking for a group that can commit to a fast-paced game.
Any interest?

Given the number of Runelords games, I rather suspect there will be at least a couple to choose from. thereal thom is already running one, with a little pre-adventure set in Korvosa.
If anything, I would expect Crimson Throne to be even more amenable to pbp than Runelords, being more urban with smaller "dungeons."

I'll admit that I'd also be interested in joining a Crimson Throne Pbp, if one emerges and someone's keeping notes on volunteers.
I might also consider DMing this series, but honestly I would like to wait to get the first two parts down before I'd start it up. After having seen that Rise seemed to imply that information in part two was connected to part one, I'd rather be forwarned as a DM. Just my thinking for now.

Hmm… I have a rough character idea in mind. Guardsman Gevtodt Bereskan, Korvosan Guard, South Shore Garrison would be a fighter with Harrowed and Big Game Hunter Feats and either the Widowed or Missing Son/Daughter Trait. His father is a renowned (and often quoted) captain of the Korvosan Guard.
How does that sound Lilith? Uh, you are DMing this PbP, aren’t you?
Just kidding :) If you do decide to run a game, please keep me in mind.

Mounz... already so many interested in playing... me, too... me, too
(If I will run a PbP it will be Shackled City first)
I'd want to play in so many PbP... sigh (Age of Worms, Savage Tide, Curse of the Crimson Throne, Eberron initial trilogy + Eyes of the Lich Queen, Drow War, War of the Burning Sky, Warlords of the Accordlands, Ptolus, Castle Whiterock, World's Largest Dungeon, World's Largest City, Cult of Yex, Temple of Elemental Evil, Dragonlance Classic, Dragonlance Age of Mortals, Iron Kingdoms Witchfire, Barakus & Durbenford, Kalamar Adventures, Red Hand of Doom, FR HC trilogy, any of the Expedition books, Original Undermountain, any GameMastery adventures, Adventures in Arcanis, Bleeding Edge, Other DCC's, Ruins of the Dragon Lords, )

Having run urban campaigns successfully before, I might be up for running one.
If you do decide to run one, Lilith...please keep me in mind as the original poster/requester of such a game. First dibs, you know! ;-)
Once CotCT starts rolling off the presses and being delivered to our doors, then I'm sure there will be more to talk about. I won't delve into character concepts and what-not until then...and even so, I'll wait until you or someone else indicates they're forming a group for PbP here in the forums.
Thanks,
--Neil

Just very roughly sketching out, i am thinking of playing a paladin in this one, a young noble who once aspired to join the Order of the Nail, but found its cruelty and uncompromising adherence to Asmodeus law unbearable - fleeing into shivers addiction. That led to him being expelled from the order. Now trying to make his way without having to go against his (her?) strong moral compass
