Mini's for Vine Horrors

Has anyone any ideas on minis for waves of vine horrors and assassin vines? Something funky, cheap and improvisational!

I was considering sprouts though they don't look viny enough...

I was going to use dark green pipe cleaners for the assassin vines - the bonus is that you can wrap the pipe cleaner around a grappled PC.

Vine horrors for me will be the dryad from the latest mini set. Not exactly improvisational, but it is a common, so they're fairly cheap...

I'd probably go to a pet store and look at aquarium plants if I was trying to get some improv vine monsters.

Liberty's Edge

Back to my "fruits and vegetables for mini's" motif....
I think toothpicks could double as little body frameworks, and then could be wrapped in little pieces of parsley. Just warn the players that like to symbolically consume dead opponents of the dangers of ingesting toothpicks.

Could use some edible paste/adhesive to put a piece of broccoli on one of those oreo minis...

...er, wait. That sounds like it would taste terrible...or wonderful.

I currently use Tanglewood Spirit miniatures from Mage Knight Whirlwind (can get them cheap online).

However, I previously used plastic aquarium plants (available in any pet store) as they were easier to obtain.

Pipecleaners - nice idea!
Aquarium plants - genius!

Maybe I can afford that Hydra now :-)

Some company makes teenie houseplants for doll houses. They would work.

Thanks, I've used aquarium plants in far too many terrain projects not to assume they'd make good plant monsters...

Green sculpey painted with a brown sharpie...

Gummi worms! Leave a bunch in your pocket until they get warm and mushy --then they can stand up on their own.

With built in ad hoc rewards (and more tasty than Heathy's parsley and HumbleMinions pipe cleaners).
