I have been away on holidays since the start of December and have missed a few major announcements, so my apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.
I am confused with the Chronicles subscription. I want all the books/maps folios/gazetteers/monster books etc that are in the sub but am not interested in any of the cards/harrow deck etc as my players and I do not use them.
Is there just a sub for the books/maps etc without the cards? are the cards actually part of the subscription?
Will I just need to order all the books etc in chronicles by themselves? (I would prefer a subscription to them as I would then get the PDFs)

Unfortunately (for me at least, I know it suits others), the Pathfinder Chronicles Subscription includes ALL products released under the chronicles line. This includes the books, but also the map folios, the item cards and the harrow deck.
Not to rehash everything here, there is a massive thread over here that goes through this exact issue in some detail. It will take some digging, but you should be able to find answers to most of your questions in that thread.

mevers has the right of it. The Pathfinder Chronicles subscription contains all of the Pathfinder Chronicles products, but does not overlap with the Pathfinder subscription.
