He declares his needs to also rest to regain his full powers. He spends his time not actually sleeping in conversation with his flashing Psicrystal, and examining the damaged staff.

Aso's growls, only barely audible over the horrible snoring, are punctuated by violent thrusts of his arms and legs.

The morning passes uneventfully, with the group sleeping fitfully, exhaustion the only thing keeping them under despite the sounds of Raam and the streams of daylight leaking through the hide wall coverings. Finishing off what parts of their friend haven’t been jankxed away for later, the Kreen wake their slumbering packmates sometime near mid-afternoon. With a full belly and her head under wing, Kha-chik has to be poked repeatedly through the canvas before coming around.

"Well, our latest mysterious benefactor made it clear that he didn't want the items attending this meeting. I can only surmise why. Any opinions on how we proceed? We are currently very vulnerable. And somehow those who have offered us shelter have been marked and attacked. We should not split up any more than absolutely necessary. Those who are to guard the items should contrive to stay near the meeting place, where they can join us quickly if another 'incident' occurs with this place as well."
