I just received order #846397, along with #846469. First, let me say thanks for combining these two into on package without me even having to ask. Unfortunately, the package was missing one item: the 3.5 DM screen. If you could put this in with my monthly Pathfinder/GameMastery subscription or even order #823363 I'd appreciate it.

And while I'm on #823363, I was wondering if I could get an update on its status, since its been a while since I ordered it. But please don't cancel anything out of the order. If something is going to hold it up, I'd rather make a case-by-case decision.

Thanks :)

823363 is being delayed by the Future Player's Companion. My recommendation would be to drop that from your order, because it's not clear when it might arrive (if at all). I can add the DM screen to that order, but it's too late to add it to your subscription shipment.

Cool, thanks for the info. I hate to be a pain, but could you split that off into a separate shipment? I don't mind waiting for it, and I don't want to cancel it in case you do get more in, but I don't want the entire order hanging in limbo if you don't. :) If you can split it off, go ahead and ship it via the standard USPS shipping method.

Thanks again, and as always great, customer service. :)

You rock, thanks! Just want to verify something: I'm wasn't pushed to the end of the queue for this book, correct?

It doesn't quite work that way. It's... complicated. The net effect, really, is that removing it pushes your other order up in the queue. Kind of.

I was more referring to the queue of who gets the books when they come in. Like, if 10 people have it on order, but you only get 5 in, there has to be some method of deciding which 5 get it. But if the order fulfillment process is complex enough that the answer can't conveniently be summed up, then I'll just have to console myself by assuming I'm at the top of the list and will get the first one that comes in. :)

[Edit: I realize the above can be read in a snarky way, but that's not the way it's intended. You guys have the some of the best customer service I've seen. Just trying to make sure nothing "slipped through the cracks" so to speak, since even you guys are human... :P]

It is unfortunately complex enough to be virtually indescribable. We have all kinds of rules about how to prioritize, and the net effect, while theoretically predictable, is far from obvious.

Lol, I know your pain. I work with computers for a living, so I deal with this on a daily basis. All good. :)

Our shipping code was written by a gentleman by the name of Heisenberg.

Spoiler:
The outcome of even an ideal measurement of a system is not deterministic, but instead is characterized by a probability distribution, and the larger the associated standard deviation is, the more "uncertain" we might say that that characteristic is for the system.
