Must....have.....hey, i thought if they charged your card, it meant it was being shipped? No shipping email from them yet, but card was charged 2 days ago (tues)....need PDF!!!
Easy Ebolav.. They put a holder on your card, but it's not actually charged yet. (Yeah, they can do that!) The real charge might come a few days later. I got the notice my card had a held charge on Monday, but it really only got charged today.
Also, check your account section for the download area. It might be there is your e-mail server is slow.

My 'complaining' should be interpreted as gleeful exuberance, not entitled whining....i mean, we just finished # 1, not playing again till Jan, but WANT TO READ :)

I never thought you were a whiner, buddy. :)
I just didn't want you be confused that you weren't getting the stuff you thought you'd been charged for, is all. It'll get there. I just finished Chapter One too, I hardly needed to get Chapter Four today either.. (Glad I did though!)

Well the cool thing for me, watcher, is that i find that the more in advance i can read the whole adventure path, the more i can foreshadow/sprinkle stuff in well in advance...this is my first GMing in over 14 years, and i find that knowing the big picture story helps me immerse the players in the important smaller details much better...so i'm excited i'll finish reading #6 and have only run through # 2, most likely....how is it so far?

It's an amazing adventure, and I'm really looking forward to running it. The accompanying articles really complement the main event this time, to the point where every creature in the bestiary is actually in the scenario.
I admit I'm particularly glad that I gave all my goblin PCs a giantkin template, since that's going to make life a whole lot more interesting for them in this chapter.

That is really cool. As a consumer, I wouldn't say that is a requirement (I like creatures for the overall campaign setting too), but this one time you get maximum bang for your buck.

I do much the same.
Here's an example from Chapter Two:
Because I had Chapter Two already, I instantly made that ex-girlfriend Katrine Vinder, and the other guy Banny Harker. Instant plot tie-in that I could not have foreshadowed without having a Chapter in advance.

Especially the art work is breathtaking! I hope I will be able to read it soon.
I must say that I don't like the picture on page 4. Seoni looks like she's 35 years old and has been working in a rough-and-tumble dockside tavern for 30 of those years.
The rest is quite good, though - mostly.
Dragons: It's interesting to see that the Nose is being passed from blue to green. I like the 3e Black better, I must say, but the rest looks good. Can't wait to have a McFarlane collection of "Golarion Clan Dragons"
The Avenue of Arms seems like a weird thing. I like the picture.
Monsters: The Redcap looks awesome, but I must say, I don't like the Taiga Giant's face (and you can tell him I said so)
One thing: Does anyobody else's Iconics' pictures look grainy?

Moving the horn to another breed just doesn't make sense to me. It fit on a burrowing dragon; it serves no purpose on a green.
Has anyone else noticed how similar the silver and gold dragons are visually? If you put them side by side and greyscale the images, they look like the same breed. There are minor differences, but they appear extremely alike. I hope this was a mistake, and not intentional.
. . .I don't like the Taiga Giant's face (and you can tell him I said so)
Neither do I; it reminds me of a clown. I don't like clowns. It's a deep-rooted fear. So deep-rooted, that I decided to hold off on a Gamastery subscription until after Module E1.

They do appear slightly pixilated to me.

For SirUrza:
The picture KaeYoss is referring to here is the, by now, usual Kyle Hunter picture in the Foreword. And while this is one of the better pictures of Kyle's (I must admit that I'm generally not a big fan of his), I do agree with KaeYoss' description of Seoni.

I agree completely on the Taiga Giant.

Mine too, in fact it seems like several of the pictures are of a lower resolution than usual (the cover and pages 3 to 5).
Regarding something in the adventure:

I think it was an overdone attempt to illustrate the "ruddy cheeks and nose" of being out in the cold too long. Does look clownish tho.

I've never thought of dragon nose horns as being used for burrowing, maybe because the other burrowing dragons don't have them? In any event, we're not going to be as dedicated to making all our dragons of the same types look identical as WotC is... just as people can have variations, dragons can have variations. The silvers will probably usually have more slender snouts and maybe larger eyes, while the golds will have more horns and stouter snouts, though.

I was able to download last night, so I actually beat Watcher!
Yeah, the face on the Seoni picture on page 4 doesn't look much like most of the other Seoni images. On the other hand, at least her boobs don't make her look like an Ettin with an extra head. Not that I don't love HUGE TRACTS OF LAND. It's just that a few of the Seoni images are just silly big. If the artist thinks that her high charisma requires an equally high bra size, maybe all of her spells should come shooting out of there like an Austin Powers Femme Bot!

I guess it was just a conclusion I came to over the years. And I was dearly hoping you would steer clear of a nose horn on your green, a feature that so defines the 4E green.

I really like the concept that an individual's features will differ from those of other dragons of the breed, but I thought you were still going to go with general guidelines that define the breed at a glance. In fact, this is indicated in the article. If anything, the fact that these dragons have variation in their facial features makes it seem that the presented gold and silver are members of the same breed even more (other than scale color, of course).

The look of the dragons in the Monster Manual is pretty much WotC's. We can't (and don't want to) have our dragons look that way. This article was as much an excuse for us to nail down how the dragons of Golarion look as much as it was a chance for us to do an article about how they act, to be honest. (And we ordered the art for our dragons well before we ever saw any of the art for 4th edition, to be honest. The fact that both of our greens ended up with nose horns is a coincidence.)
And yes... we'll be going with the head shots in the article for guidelines. The goal IS to be able to identify them at a glance from their horns and frills and eyes. The silver and the gold ended up looking pretty similar, but we can work with that. In fact, determining the looks of these ten dragons ended up being one of the most headache-inducing and difficult tasks we've done yet with the art... and one of the more expensive since we had to have a few re-done. It would have been great to have had an entire art staff and a year or so to design them, which is what WotC had when they designed the look of the 3rd edition dragons, but I'm pretty proud with what we came up with in less than a month, to be honest.

James, you said there will be three lamias in #6... how many monsters will be in that issue in total?
There will be 7 monsters in all; 3 of them new lamias, one of them a new giant, one of them a new vermin, and two of them new outsiders.
The 3 lamias are all separate entries, but they're also all quite different creatures.

James, all of the images on my downloaded file are low-res too. Is it possible this is the case with "one file" downloads? In any event, it is the case with my one file download....
Ah... I was assuming that the art in the PRINT version was what we were talking about, but that makes no real sense when you consider the fact that the print versions haven't arrived at mailboxes or stores yet.
It sounds like a problem with the PDFs. I'll see if we can get it fixed.

I'm very glad the look is different than that of WotC. And I can come to accept the Golarion green's horn a lot easier than the snout spear WotC is going with; at the very least it would serve to add some measure of protection for the face.

Other than the two things I mentioned, I really like what was come up with.
So, how soon can we expect to see art for the other thirty dragon breeds mentioned in the article? Well, 28 breeds and 2 unique dragons.
. . .
I kid.

I was able to download mine at around 8 AM eastern time, so almost 12 hours ago. I win?
Definitely my second favorite Pathfinder so far, with The Skinsaw Murders number one, Hook Mountain Massacre number three, and Burnt Offerings number four. (Note that they're all great. Just not... Skinsaw great.)

Just as soon as someone tells me to start writing them. ^_^
Right now, it's just a matter of "Where would be publish them?" I assure you, writer burn-out is NOT a factor.
