I'm just wondering what you came up with for the table on which Aldern placed all the relics of the PC he's obsessed with?
PF#2 states these:
- Empty potion bottles
- Used scrolls
- Enveloppe of Hair, hairbrush/comb
Here are a couple of my ideas:
- Bathing relics (towel, brush, soap, maybe even a bottle of soapy water from her bath...)
- Bedroom relics (pillow cover, bedsheet)
- Meal relics (used plate/bowl, ustensils and mug/glass, maybe with rotten/moldy left-overs in them)
- Mundane jewlery relics (ribons and other hair fashioning objects, mundane bracelet/earing(s)/necklace)
- Old adventuring equipment relics (either sold back or left over once she got better equipment, like small weapon, used up kit, etc)
- Small piece of parchment with random doodles and notes from the PC.
What else?

You hit on the same ones I used. The trick with used bottles alone, is that, who can say who drank from an empty bottle. A comb, hair, a hair tie, etc. are much more immediately identifiable by the owner as belonging to them. I wouldn't recognize a fork I've used at a restuarant, but I may recall, perhaps a cloth napkin I had used to clean that three curry salmon stain at the Rusty Dragon.
As a side, I wondered if Aldern goes to *some* places, why only those areas offer an oderous trace of him? My players never asked or noticed, but I'd wonder why there wouldn't also be an incriminating odor as Aldern rumaged through one of the PC's backpack, belt pouch, or bedding. Hindsight, I'd probably include a smell.

Well, I'm still running Chap 1, so I knew that Aldern was collecting things about the person he's obsesed with. He asked for a lock of hair, which was willingly given. I tought I would have him collect most of his relics in the few days after the first goblin raid, while he's still at Sandpoint, so he woudln't leave a smell yet.
Nice ideas about mane hair from her mount (the one he gave her in the first place) and the used cloth napkin.
Just came up with this idea: One of her favorite books she travels with.

I'd been thinking that he wouldn't start collecting until after he went insane(r) after becoming undead. Are many of you having him start his collections earlier than that?

I'm in-between.
I'm going to have him ask for a lock of hair, or some other small token, when he leaves Sandpoint - just as a bit of foreshadowing.
The rest of his tokens will be stolen once he's changed and I will keep the lock of hair in reserve and only leave it at a crime scene if my PCs are being incredibly dense.
