Torag paladins

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Anyone have any ideas that I can use for a character who desparately wants to play a paladin of Torag. I am unsure where this strong
desire came from, but he really wants to play one, and I don't know
what to do with him.

thanks

What exactly do you need?

While we don't have that much information about Torag now, that only means that you can make up stuff just as you (and your player) like them.

Go with what you got: He's the god of forge, protection and strategy, with the domains of Artifice, Earth, Good, Law, Protection. His favoured weapon is the warhammer, and his holy symbol "A gleaming silver hammer with blocky runes on it." (According to the Pathfinder weblog).

To me, that suggests a paladin with a silver warhammer covered with runes (his weapon, also doubling as his holy symbol!) in heavy armour he has forged himself and a heavy shield. He'll be smarter than what you expect from your average paladin, and will go the Combat Expertise route of Feats and generally behave stategically aware. No smart but stupid paladin going "CHAAAAARGE" at everything that shows up on his evil detector.

He would probably either be human or dwarf (maybe half-elf, too), but in the end, an elven paladin could work, too. He'd probably have lighter armour and combine fleetness of foot and high dexterity with a quick mind, using strategy and mobility to his advantage. It's not like elves couldn't become smiths (he could have studied a couple of decades with human and dwarven smiths, for example. He'd have the time and more!)
