On this and other boards (enworld.org, rpg.net, etc.), I've read about folks cancelling their Paizo subscriptions and am curious as to why you did so. Did you dislike the modules? The price? Little of both? Or did the MIB scare you that much :) ?
NOTE: I don't have a subscription to any Paizo product, preferring to buy compendiums.

Joela,
Your thread's been moved here because the previous location is more for customer service issues.

Thanks, Cosmo. Still learning my way around the messageboards here. :)
For me, I drop subscriptions if I don't find the content useful any more. I used to have several mens fitness, comic, and writing subscripts for a long, long time. But when I wasn't reading them any more or found their content repetitious, I couldn't justify their admittedly minor costs.

I have not cancelled my subscriptions...matter of fact I'm longing for Chronicles and Accessories subscriptions!
I may hazard a guess that some people may have jumped on board as part of the mourning process over the utter loss of Dragon and Dungeon. Pathfinder is not the same thing. So some people may have left out of despair, unable to fully enter into the Golarion experience.

I haven't canceled mine but I don't mind speculating. Most probably thought, since they paid the money for dragon/dungeon already, might as well get something for it so they gave Pathfinder a try. They canceled because Pathfinder doesn't offer what Dragon did; Player classes, prestige classes, fiction, and articles. While Dungeon did have adventure paths, many people prefer the quicky adventures that Dungeon offered.

I cancelled both subscriptions due to financial issues. I just bought a home, and the mortgage payments + condo fees + property taxes + rising cost of living are having an impact on my leisure spending (I live alone and work in the non-profit sector, and living expenses are increasing much faster than my salary is). It broke my heart to cancel the subscriptions, as the products I did receive were of great quality... and I loved finding gaming stuff in my mailbox once a month!
On a brighter note, my friend is still subscribing to Pathfinder, so I'll actually get to play in his Rise of the Rune Lords campaign... and no sense in me buying that stuff if he's going to run it.
I still intend to pick up the occasional GameMastery module, if I think they would fit in well in my Greyhawk campaign (my friend hasn't subscribed to that). The Pathfinder Gazetteer and the hardcover might also be hard to resist...
And I'm also a map pack and flip mat junky... so I'm still supporting Paizo's business, albeit in a more limited fashion than before...

From a gaming perspective, I might also add that I have loads of Greyhawk, Ravenloft and Dungeon adventures from 1st ed through 3.5 that I still haven't run (and probably won't be able to run in my lifetime, though I'll try!), and the Pathfinder adventures were looking more and more difficult to integrate into Greyhawk, given the extent to which the adventures seem tied to the increasingly detailed history/culture/locations of Golarion... I think the material is great, and fun to read and mine for ideas, but a bit of a challenge to adapt. The GameMastery modules seem a bit easier to plunk into another campaign world...
So given my financial constraints, it especially made sense to drop Pathfinder, though I really look forward to playing the adventure paths... Golarion seems like a really exciting and well thought out campaign setting... but should I have expected anything less from Erik "Greyhawk" Mona and his awesome crew? (sorry, I missed the Mona day party, so there's my nod to the man's greatness... :-)
