[Burnt Offerings] Eryllium's Obedience?

Rise of the Runelords

Quick question: What do Thaumaturges of Lamashtu do to replenish their spells? It would be a nice bit of descriptive flavor for the party to encounter Eryllium as she was finishing her invocations, and explain why she's full up on spells when the party comes calling.

Note: I'm using Armies of the Abyss as my source for the Thaumaturge, rather than Book of Fiends. I don't know if the class changed between editions.

From p. 11 of The Book of Fiends:

The Book of Fiends wrote:
Thaumaturges do not acquire spells from books or scrolls, nor do they prepare them through study. Instead, they participate in a daily ritual known as an obedience, a short ceremony required of them by their Abyssal patron. The obedience takes one hour to perform. At the end of the ceremony, the thaumaturge receives his full daily complement of spells. Time spent resting has no effect on whether a thaumaturge can prepare spells, though he cannot replenish his spell allotment until 24 hours have passed since he last began his obedience ritual.

So yes, there's still an obedience required. Speculations?

We'll have more information about this in Pathfinder 5, which has a big meaty article about Lamashtu that includes a lot of stuff about her worship and rituals and all that. It'll probably be pretty creepy and gross. Since whatever it is is still in the creative process, though, I'm not quite ready to reveal more details quite yet...

Okay. I'll figure something out.
