I know this has probably been said a hundred times before, but I recently got a chance to see a print copy of Burnt Offerings (my FLGS finally got it in), and I was absolutely blown away by the production quality. Wow.
I’m playing Burnt Offerings at the moment (in a pbp run by Aubrey here at Paizo), and so far the adventure itself seems really good, but when I read various messageboard and blog posts about the physical quality of the books, I kind of thought ‘yeah yeah, whatever.’ I was wrong. This thing looks awesome.
The only problem is, I’m now completely torn as to whether to buy it or not! As a player, I’d prefer not to spoil things by going ahead and reading the adventure, but with the combination of exciting adventure AND excellent visual quality, I don’t think I’d be able to put it down till I’d read it cover to cover. Sigh.
