Urol says that the journey from the shipwreck to Tamora is 130 miles and should take 10 days. Urol though moves at 20 ft. Checking the Overland movement rules, he can make 16 miles per day. That results in just over 8 days to get there.
But....as far as Urol knows the trip is mostly jungle. Trackless jungle reduces movement to 1/4, 4 miles per day, 32 days to get Tamora. Even a road/track would be 3/4, 12 miles per day, 10 days total. Are we to assume to treat the jungle on the way as road/track?
Urol also mentions he can forage for food. That reduces movement by 1/2 again. Making the journey even longer if the PCs need to do this. All of that assumes the PCs don't get lost at any point along the way either.
Seems like Urol's estimate of trip should be much longer and the actual trip is going to be much longer?

It also sounds like those estimates are assuming an uneventful journey. Any combat encounters, delays due to illness or injury, getting lost, wrangling the 'Civilians' along the trail, major obstacles among other things should all be considered when determining the travel time.
IIRC, much of the journey is also on trails, not exclusively thru heavy jungle, so take that into account as well.
I guess its not a good idea to predetermine the number of days required despite, Urol's estimates.
Cheers!

well, as for the part between the gargoyle haunted pass and the elevator (app. 1/3rd of the journey) , that is along a rather clear, unobstructed path/track along the coastal cliffs, which should not include a reduction of travel speed.
Urol estimates it as taking six days
The first part, from the beach to the mountains is also described as taking place along a game trail, which only reduced overland speed to 3/4ths, and should hence be doable in a day. The pass itself is noted as being six miles long, and according to the adventure text takes three hours at Urol's speed (specifically noted)
Alltogether this should bring the group (with Urol) to the edge of the Fogmire within seven days, unless the group choses to waltz of the proposed path.
The path south of fogmire is also stated as broadening out into a wide, travelled track (not much of an obstacle in my opinion) within a day after walking south from the shrine.
Doesn't seem too far of the original statement
That said, we extended it some, with some sidequests and exploratory encounters.
The proposed travel times for SWW in relation to distances to be sailed were woefull off too - although in the other direction, meaning, they were far too long (obviously no-one assumed ships to be sailing through the night... oh well ). Just stretch thelength as much as you think your group will consider fun

But does Urol know any of that? I know he's been to the Isle, but he knows the Isle that well?

Well, I have (ahem had, he died a couple of sessions ago in our STAP ) Urol pegged as an unabashed optimist and the "usually-exaggerating" type.
The "this is easy" and "no danger from eating this" type. Check the short proppsed interlude on the wrecking beach, involving local crabs.
Well meaning, but... ahem, not all that competent. If Urol says its "just over those hills", best pack for an epic journey =)
