I was thinking maybe there should be a Golarion campaign setting specific message board for questions about the world itself. Right now everything is mixed in with the Pathfinder and Gamemastery message boards and while a lot of us frequent both, there may be people who get only one set of books and thus might miss what goes on in the other forums.

If they do, I don't think it would be before the Pathfinder Chronicles Gazetteer releases in January. Until then, the information we have from one volume of Pathfinder, the Player's Guide, and four GameMastery modules would make anything posted to a Golarion board guestimates, speculation and fuel for snickering Paizoites ("<snicker> They're gonna be soooo surprised when they see what that really is...").

On the contrary, I don't think we need another board, rather, we need to consolidate the existing boards.
I've found that most of the overlap is between threads in the Pathfinder General section and the GameMastery General section. So we should just combine them into a Golarion General section, and have seperate sub-sections for each Pathfinder Arc and then another one for the Modules.
*Or course, then we get the problem of Item Cards, Map Packs, etc being without a home. But they get lost in the shuffle of the GameMastery General section now anyways since the modules came out.
Maybe re-organize the Boards like this:
GameMastery (Non-Module) Items
Golarion
General: Sub-Category
Module Discussion: Sub-Category
Rise of the Runelords Discussion: Sub-Category
Curse of the Crimson Throne Discussion: Sub-Category

Or maybe we just need to think more carefully about where we place the posts. Threads are all over the place, and the board isn't exactly over-moderated. Which is a good thing, I guess, but for a long-time moderator on other boards, I value tidiness, posts put in the right sub-forum and not too many threads about the same thing.

True, but that wouldn't necessarily fix some things falling into either General Category. (ie. Questions about religion, etc)
