One of the players in my Pathfinder game wants to run a human cleric who will eventually become a dragonborn of Bahamut. Is there yet an analog of Bahamut in Varisia? Tiamat? If so, what are their names?
If this has been posted somewhere else before I've missed it.

There are indeed analogs for Bahamut and Tiamat. I'll chat with the other folks in the editorial pit later today and see if we're ready to release their names into the world.

And hey, worse comes to worse, if the name can't be released yet, you can always do the gaming fallback my group uses when the player can't remember the name of someone/thing where the character would clearly remember.
"I am a Dragonborn Cleric of Insertnamehere"
It works in a pinch, but definately not to be over-used.
"I, Insertnamehere, and my traveling companion Insertnamehere are travelling from the city of Insertnamehere to the village of Insertnamehere . .. " Well, ya see what I mean.

Hey James, were you able to get a ruling on this?

nothing like an 18 month bump!
Well WotC has finally disgusted me to the point of no return (straw that broke the camels back cliche).
I am (was) an avid collector of Dragon magazine and Forgotten Realms products, and in one year's time WotC/Hasbro destroyed the future of both collections.
With that they destroyed the future of cashflow from my wallet to theirs.
I have tasted 4e and found it laughably MMO-like and so I will stick to 3.5
I am looking for a new setting and have heard great things about Pathfinder. Players in my campaign have always relished the iconic Bahamut vs Tiamat (or Paladine vs Takhisis, Marduk vs Tiamat, etc) themes.
Like the intial poster of this thread, I am interested in whether or not Pathfinder had analogous deities to these iconic beings

The article in question is in Pathfinder # 4 and does include these analogs, but I can't recall the names off hand. I think Tiamat is still Tiamat but the good dragon leader has been replaced. Maybe Apsu or something like that?

Pathfinder #4 has an extensive article about the dragons of Golarion and their gods. Gods and Magic details these gods, too. They are Apsu (god of the good dragons) and Dahak (the evil one, even feared and hated by the evil dragons).

Correct; I wasn't ready to spoil those names at the time the previous post happened a year and a half ago... but now it's all out!
Apsu = the good dragon god.
Dahak = the evil dragon god.
Both are drawn from the same real-world mythology as Tiamat was... Dahak more than Apsu, I believe. You can find more information about both deities in either Pathfinder #4 or in Gods & Magic.
