A player in my group wants to run a CG Varisian Warlock, in the flavor of a fey/nature power source. The setting bonus feats in the player's guide don't really do much for this PC.
The initial cut was:
1) Create a Warlock equivalent for Spell Focus to serve as a prerequisite (+1 to invocation DCs)
2) Varisian Tattoo (invocations): Eldritch Blast damage as a Warlock 1 level higher, some minor cantrip (in the same flavor of the existing feat)
Does offering a Warlock variation of the Varisian Tattoo feat seem reasonable? What would you envision as its benefit? What would you suggest as a prerequisite?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

The biggest problem is the flavor behind Varisian runemagic doesn't mesh with the flavor of a warlock. You'd probably be better off with feats emphasizing a fey heritage (perhaps based on the Heritage Feats for the sorcerer in Complete Arcane and Player's Handbook II). For example:
Fey Heritage
You have a stronger than normal connection to the fey.
Prerequisites: Warlock level 1st
Benefit: You gain a bonus equal to the number of Fey Heritage feats on all Bluff, Diplomacy, Gather Information, Intimidate, and perform checks made to interact with fey. You also gain the same bonus on saving throws to resist Enchantment effects.
Fey Charisma
You can beguile one animal or person.
Prerequisites: Fey Heritage, Warlock level 1st
Benefit: Once per day, you can beguile a single animal or person as a spell-like ability. The effect is the same as a charm animal or charm person spell.
Fey Resilience
Your fey connection makes you more resistant to normal weapons.
Prerequisites: Fey Heritage, Warlock level 3rd
Benefit: You gain a bonus of +1 to your damage reduction 1/cold iron. From now on, your damage reduction is treated as one point higher.

Just for the record, Complete Mage includes a Fey Heritage feat series, some of which look pretty similar to these (and one that increases CL and save DC for warlock invocations). I planned to make Fey Heritage (the CM version) available as a gnome background feat, but nobody went for a gnome in my game (shrug) - it would work just as well for warlocks, I would think.

One of may player will play a Warlock with a lot of Fey Heritage Feats from complete mage. His character is not sure of his ascendency but know is related to some fey.
I give a flavor bonus feat to all the characters, i gave him a Rosesprite Heritage feat granting him Woodland stride, and 1/day she can transform into a rose bush, all this from Conquest of the Bloodsworm Vale (also counting for a fey heritage feat).

Complete Mage is not a book I own or have done more than glance at, so I'm not surprised that WotC has already published warlock Heritage Feats (or even that they'd be similar, although I didn't review the new feats; I was basing the feats on the sorcerer Heritage Feats and the Bloodline rules from UA/SRD). If the OP has access to Complete Mage, then the expanded coverage (feats, invocations, prestige classes) of the warlock that exists in that volume could be useful. Some of the prestige classes are a little over the top, though.

I'm looking at those Fey FEATs in Complete Mage and I've got to say I'm not really up to date on many things involving Fey so what is the defenition of cold iron and which book can I find it in?
It's iron forged at low temperatures from way underground. As for what book... well, how about the SRD? ;)
