I saw the wizards site with the previews for the new set coming out in November, I'm looking forward to the Bar Igura demon. It looks pretty sweet. Hopefully it won't be a rare or if it is it won't cost to much on miniature market. Now if they could just throw some Korpu in the set, and do a huge sized demogorgon....
I seriously think that they do need to start making some huge sized minis and selling them as singles. I'm confident they would sell well if they were reasonably priced. I hate the variety packs, which is why I pretty much only pick up singles, but not off this site (way overpriced).

Yeah I have the reaper one, but when it is scaled beside my other minis it is a kind of small, plus it has wings. The demonic lasher is a great demogorgon figure, and I used it for the lemorian golem and I'll use it for Khala, but it is only large size. Demogorgon is huge, and sometimes size does matter.

The new WotC bar-lgura is indeed rare (blech!) and to make things worse, is Large sized. Way to mess with us Savage Tide DMs, WotC. *golf clap*
Apparently bar-lguras are having a size upgrade in 4e - a better grapple check makes it easier to use Abduct, I guess...
War apes are a decent appropriate-sized ape.

Oh I didn't realize that. I still might try to pick up a couple for the advanced Bar Igura's. You could also make Olanguru large, without greatly unbalancing him.

I ended up using war apes. It wasn't ideal, but it was okay.
