Paizo's Ogres?

Accessories

I'm starting to plan out an adventure with ogres, and as a big, big fan of Paizo's goblins, and knowing there are ogres in the first Pathfinder AP, I was wondering if there was any chance we could get an ogre fluff preview on the blog.

I've got some fluff I'm using -- going back to fairy tales and having the half-human daughter of an ogre be a beautiful, if tall, apparently human protagonist in an adventure -- but would love some more.

I'll see what I can do. There is a ten facts about ogres laying about on me computer somewhere (and I think the Lord o' Paizo) have their hands on it as well...

I'll bet ghouls get the spot light first though.

GRRRRRRRRrrrrrrRRRR!

I can't argue with ghouls getting the spotlight first!

Especially since they will paralyze me and eat me alive if I do ...

The concept of "ogre fluff" is going to give me nightmares.

That Nick Logue is a sicko, by the way. But in a good way.

No. Not even in a good way. There is nothing "good" about Nick. He is pure 100% unadulterated sicko. Nothing is redeeming about him.

At least you didn't say "ogre fluffer" - that would just be bad on so many levels.

Fuffed Ogre; is that a new recipe? hmm, butter, pepper, garlic... I like my mash taters fluffed; never tried an Ogre...Ogre Magi prolly needs soy sauce...

Are you just staying with D&D ogre fluff or are you open to other sources? Most D&D ogres are dull, brutish thugs; but, many of the oriental ogres are much more than that. I use some Germanic and Scandanavian myths as well as some American Indian ones with my Ogres.
