maybe someone is able to help me with my question. I have subscribed to pathfinder on sunday. The short message "Volume #2 ships October 2007" which can be found under "my subscription" makes me a little be nervous. Does it mean that my subscription will start with volume #2 or is it just an information? I have asked the support team, but no answer yet, and i would really like to start with volume #1.

This past Sunday? Yeah, you've pretty much missed the shipping date of Volume #1 (otherwise you would also have "Volume #1 shipped August 2007" in you My Subscriptions).
In order to make the regular mailing for #1, I believe you needed to sign up by 8/13. This is when the mailing labels were printed, I believe.
You should be able to order #1 individually to "catch up".
It would be nice to have a "catchup" option for those starting later in an adventure path... and possibly a "start me at the next AP" option too.
However it wouldn't be quite fair to be asking for a subscriber price on those volumes missed - as then no one would have much financial incentive to be a subscriber. Anyone ordering more later would get a shipping break though (if more than one is missed). Seems close enough.

The My Subscriptions page was broken at the time—it was fixed today.
When you signed up, you were offered the choice of starting with Volume 1 or 2, and you chose 1; it will likely ship out tomorrow.
*bows* .... iam happy now :-) cant wait to hold it in my hand!
