Rise of the Runelords

Silver Crusade

Is there any where I can find the pic's for a bunyip and the tentamort?

Check out the 1st edition Fiend Folio. The bunyip looks a lot like a sea lion; the tentamort is just a ball with 2 really big tentacles.

Silver Crusade

Just looking for something to so my players.

The Exchange

The Tome of Horrors by the wonderful and awe inspiring Necromancer Games has the Bunyip on page 31 and the Tentamort on page 253. They look like their old Fiend Folio pictures though so I think that is a good place to look as well.

I have seen it posted somewhere else that they have a 3.5 update for this book too.

Tentamorts are from the 1st edition fiend folio; there's a pic there and in the tome of horrors.

Bunyips, fortunately, are from real-world mythology. Head on over to google and do an image search for them and you'll get ALL sorts of crazy pictures to choose from.

Bunyip: bunyip

tentamort is harder, this is the best I can find, the one on the right. tentemeort

Bunyips are cool monsters, but their place in D&D is relegated to that of some sort of demented freshwater seal (yuk!). Tentamorts are great monsters (there's also a good picture of one in the old 2nd Ed. Greyhawk MM, which is a bit better than the FF picture or the Necromancer picture).

Is that a monster, or a bunch of S&M gear?

tentamort

A little bit of threadomancy (I'm actually quite good at it).

I couldn't resist editing the artwork when I saw it put on the Blog for Riddleport. So I edited the Bunyip so it is all that you see and took out the victim.

I'll remove it if asked. I also would give credit to the origanl artist but I'm not sure who it was.

Liberty's Edge

Alright, here is what I could come up with.

Tentamort

Bunyip

Great pics, thanks!

For my games I create Monster Cards. These are designed to be printed on standard 3x5 index cards and contain player appropriate information about a monster including a picture. Their is no numerical information on these cards so you couldn't use them to run the monsters, but its nice to hand to a player who makes their Knowledge check. I have these available in two file formats; .pdf(adobe reader) and .odt(OpenOffice.org).

Click HERE to see a list of monsters for Chapter 1: Burnt Offerings that can be downloaded.

You can also click HERE to view my main web page that has the unofficial Errata for Chapter 1: Burnt Offerings available.

Sorry not for awhile actually. My players are just finishing Burnt Offering so it will be a long time before I need to do stuff for CotCT.
