Will the downloads be updated as confirmed errata are found?
thanks
Answer unclear... ask again later?
We're still scrambling to get everythnig caught back up to schedule with Pathfinder. That's looking like it's gonna happen sometime next month. Until then, I'm not really sure what we'll be doing about eratta. I'd like to do something easy, like have a simple little PDF or something that I can update for each volume as errata is found that I can just zip in and update myself. But since I can't actually manipulate PDFs in that manner on my computer, it'd probably have to involve someone from the art staff and maybe the web team and then it gets all complicated...
ANYway... we'll figure out what to do about posting errata eventually. But for now... it's just something I'll have to handle via these messageboards, I fear.

Fair enough...
The simple question:What is the basis for the DC on the Sinspawn's Wrathful Bite supernatural ability?
The bite has a DC of 12, but doesn't say what the DC is based on.
Typically poisons are 10 + 1/2 racial HD + con modifier
which would be DC 13 for a sinspawn
If it isn't a poison, most magical effects are charisma based.
Which would make the DC of 12 correct, but would mean the Envyspawn and Lustspawn would have different DCs.
Just curious

Oops... forgot to indicate what stat modifies the bite. It's not poison, in any event, it's a supernatural ability in which their own wrath is infected into the victim. Since it's a "personality" type attack, it's based on Charisma. And sinspawn have a Charisma of 12, so: 10 + 1/2 HD + 1 = 12.
Which does indeed mean that several of the variant sinspawn would have more potent sinful bites.

Being in Canada, I just received my copy, love it! Good job. Anyway,I was flipping through and found a scale that confused me. On page 33 of Burnt Offerings there is a map showing the Sandpoint Hinterlands. The scale is set in miles and the full length on the page is about 3.5 centimetres (an inch and a three eights). Seemed a bit small so I looked at the amazing players guide, specifically, the map on the inside back cover. This scale is also set in miles but is much larger, making perfect sense. Is the scale on page 33 in Burnt Offerings correct or a minor error, if it is incorrect, can you post the correct scale? Thank you TJ

For ease of reference, I'd suggest keeping things to this thread: Burnt Offerings Clariications GM Reference.

so, have you thought of a way to update downloads with errata?
For the moment, at least, we've decided not to do this. We just don't have the resources to spare. (And when the Pathfinder team does get some spare time, they'll be putting their efforts into things that more people have been asking for, like supplemental downloads.)

Hmm . . . I read this to mean . . "We'd like to, but it's so far down the priority list, we can't even see it right now" . . . which ya know, I for one am cool with that.
Here's hoping that you can clear everything out on the priority list so that you'd be able to have a viable option (timewise) of doing so.

Please, would it be possible to have a Pathfinder and Gamemastery errata section/free download where all the errata and corrections for each publication are listed in page order?
So you could update it if something is found and I could just print it out and keep it with my products.
Possible? Yes. All things are possible, I suppose. Likely? Not in the near future.

I compiled pretty much everything from the Burnt Offering(GM Reference) thread into an unofficial Errata PDF document. I sorted it by page number to make it a little easier to find what you need. The document also has some of James Jacobs's answers to the more general Rise of the Runelords answers he posted in this thread.
I had wanted to be able to do one of these for each chapter of RotRL, but medical reasons are preventing this from happening at this time. Hope at least chapter 1 helps others out. Its also my way of saying thanks to Paizo for another great adventure path for me and my players.
