I received this item today and find it not to my liking. I do not wish to impugn the item, as it has received high praise and I am sure many do enjoy it. I am of a different opinion, how may I go about returning item and either receiving credit or a refund for it?

I returned item yesterday (it is in original condition and you should receive it in a few days) and noted if the purchase amount could be credited to the credit card on file. If possible, can you instead convert it to store credit as I intend to purchase an alternative cover Pathfinder. Can you initiate that as an order or should I just add it to my shopping cart and pay for it as usual? Whatever is easiest.

No problem. I have put a note to that effect on the order and there's a 90% chance that whomever (most likely me) processes the return will see the note and credit your account accordingly. There is a slight chance that we'll follow the directions on your enclosed note, but the note on the order should take care of that.
Can you initiate that as an order or should I just add it to my shopping cart and pay for it as usual? Whatever is easiest.
When we process the return, we will send you an email that will let you know that the credit is on your account. At that point, you can go ahead and check out normally and use the credit then.
