Timeline in Golarion

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I haven't read the Player's Guide yet, so my answers will possibly be answered there, but I am wondering if you have a "current year" for Golarion in which Rise of the Runelords and the Gamemastery-modules are set in.

It would be interesting to know if the second adventure path happens simultaneously with the first, immediately following it, or a couple of years in the future.

From what I've read, Curses happens following the events of Runelords. Don't expect that to be the norm though. AP's might be concurrent, past, future... just about anything to make the story good.

The beginning date for Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path is, the 23 of September in the year 4707. (Sept 23, 4707). Now as I do not know the names of the months in the campaign setting I am using the real world month. The adventure begins on the first day of Autumn, and in 2007 (campaign will coinside with real world time) the first day of Autumn is the 23 of Sept.

Couldn't tell you for the other modules, am only keeping up with the adventure path.

Sorry forgot to also ment. Curse of the Chrimson Throne will take place after Rise of the Runelords. Am not sure how much longer afterwords though. I am assuming 6 months or so.

Interesting. 4707 after what? Or maybe I should just read the Player's Guide...

Wont find it in the players guide. The date wont be released till Pathfinder #1.

It's not in the Player's Guide, I think. I think we decided on the year well after the PG went to print.

The current year in Golarian is 4707 AR.

We have not yet revealed what AR stands for.

But we will very soon, certainly before Gen Con.

That just makes me try to think what could have happened that would cause one of the largest cities on Golarion being associated with a "Reckoning".

And then … the name of the city is a … curious choice.
