From the back of the Player's Guide:
"Domains and more for twenty new deities comprising the core pantheon of the Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting(TM)"
Maybe I didn't catch the announcement when the PC products were announced, but are we to assume that "Pathfinder Chronicles" is, in fact, the name of the setting?

On the Pathfinder product page there's also these new products:

Pathfinder Chronicles: Guide to Korvosa
The city-state of Korvosa, largest in all Varisia, has prospered over the last century since its abandonment by its founding nation of Cheliax. Amazon scooped us and forced us to advance our announcement timeline. Check our press release page--we officially announced the name of our campaign setting today. :-)
Oh, and the 2nd Pathfinder Adventure Path.

This is an EXCELLENT 2008 release schedule, looking much better than W*TC's. But does this mean...
Maybe the gang at Paizo has some inside information about the whispered v4.x version of the worlds most popular role-playing game?
As nice as that might be (because I trust Paizo) that is not very likely.

We only know as much as everyone else knows, which is to say virtually nothing.
Besides, all the products we've announced are coming out in the first third of next year. Given that Wizards hasn't yet announced anything, we're pretty darn confident that folks will still be playing 3.5 in April!

Not to threadjack too much, but I'd imagine a 4e is going to be more like a 3.75. Take a look at Star Wars Saga edition for the kind of changes you'd expect to see in a new D&D adventure (espescially where it concerns skills, beginning HD, etc) and thus would easily be convertible between 3.5 and the new edition. Paizo could probably make the change almost seamlessly.
Although I'd like to point out there's still market for 2e stuff, just look at Hackmaster.

I think WoTC's stuff is better.
Just kidding. You've got my D&D dollar from here on out. So glad I cancelled all my pre-orders from WoTC when they killed your magazines. I pirate their books, look at them, and think, "wow, this wasn't worth the time to download, let alone they money to buy!"
Pathfinder looks fantastic.
