Where are the main places casual visitors to Sasserine land?

The merchants quarter has near everything you could imagine for stores to supply a party. Also Inn's to stay at and etc. Download the players guide to Savage Tide, it details the city quite well and is available as a free download here on the Paizo site.

But the Brothels are in the Azure district, I guess it depends on your priorities.

There are brothels in every district pretty much.

I took the map that came with the PDF and copied it into a program called Ptolemy, which was originally written to use with the Morrowind CRPG. Once that was done, I labeled every building that was covered in the Guide and the Backdrop in Dungeon. It turned out to be a pretty large file (around 25 MB), but that's because I used a very close-up look at the map.

If you're interested, drop me a line, and I'll give you a link to get the program, as well as the map-file itself. In fact... Mr. Jacobs, would you be willing to put that file up for people to grab from this site?

Indeed, one of the more interesting roleplay issues surrounding our first night was how my PC's decided to spend their shore leave, which in most cases boiled down to which district's brothels they were heading to. Many went for the brothels in the Noble district, under the assumption they'd get some high class treatment there. Some went to Azure, and one particularly brave soul went to Shadowshore, simply because he couldn't stop laughing at the name "The Velvet Hatch". :)

Not quite every district, Noble, Cudgel, and Sunrise are completely free and the one brothel in the Champion's district has a kind of inconspicuous name.

I hadn't realized that the merchant district was such a haven for debauchery though! I could have guessed that Shadowshore would have at least one cat house (it is the bad side of town after all) but that's an area that should be avoided by most visitors to Sasserine anyways . . . unless the character is the type that goes looking for trouble.
