It's not listed, but I usually go with a bard's starting gold. Their needs for equipment at 1st level are pretty similar. Both wear light armor, have some weapons, and need spell components (pouch or instrument).

Although not listed in Complete Arcane (or the errata), it is listed on page 5 of the Miniatures Handbook as 3d4x10 (average 75gp).
