Demonomicon Book?

Dragon Magazine General Discussion

Are you planning on releasing a book of all the Demonomicons like you did with the Monster Ecologies?

It would be really awesome.
Maybe throw in a few extra entires.

Maybe add some great cover art of Iggwilv, like Dungeon 149 . . . .

It's nice to see I'm not the only one who is hoping for this. Come on, Paizo!

While it would be great it will probably be something that WotC would have to do since they own the rights to it not Paizo. Either that or they will license Paizo to make it.

It will probably be paizo, as the license Isn't revoked just yet.

Er... it is in about a week and a half.

But our license to produce the magazines is completely separate from our ability to produce compilations. Each compilation we want to do is its own specific license, individually negotiated.

I was initially thinking that wizards would never go for it, as it competes with their line (SCAP came out when they didn't publish adventures...), but they've *aleady* written FC1, and the demonicon compilation would probably add more to the sales of the book. They might go for it.

Could you release a compilation of DRAGON and DUNGEON stuff and label it OGC so other publishers could use it? I know it's probably legally (and perhaps ethically) impossible, but I just thought it was an interesting idea.

Scratch that. Of course it's impossible. It was a nice thought though.
