So I finally decided to reveal to the Paizo community what I look like. As far as I know, only three non-Paizo board regulars have ever met me in real life (EPHealy, Medesha, and Wolfgang Baur), so they won't be shocked by my appearance.

In order to shed the best light possible on me, though, I asked Wes to take a black & white artsy picture of me. I think the picture he took is very flattering, and probably catches me at my very best.

So, without further ado, I present to you:

Me.

Forgive the small size.

Wow Mike, you & Lawgiver could really be brothers. Y'all both have the same serious beard! Love it.

wow you guys are all so young :)

Since I've started hanging out here more, I will put up a link or two.

Gen Con

Earlier Gen Con I'm in the upper right.

It's a year out of date (approximately), but yes, we are younger than quite a few Lords of the Boards. Makes you feel your age, eh?

Holy crap; that's a good collection!

I don't know what's more geeky; you having all that stuff, or me being able to identify it at 30 paces!

Slaughter Margin?
Fury of Dracula?
Rogue Trooper?
Talisman?
Valley of the Four Winds!!!

And if I'm not mistaken, the 4 sets of Dungeon Floor Plans from GW?

Ian Livingstone made a bob or two out of both of us!

Correct on all counts! It's a shame that the left-hand half of that shelf is cut off, or you'd see the other Games Workshop board games sitting there - including Warlock, which was a direct inspiration for Richard Garfield's design of Magic: the Gathering. We played the Judge Dredd board game more than any other, I think - so much that the backs of the cards changed from black to grey! The Judge Dredd roleplaying game also gave me my only non-D&D long-running campaign.

Didn't GW go downhill after Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson sold it to Bryan Ansell?

I know guy-with-beard isn't the most unique look at a gaming convention but I really think I may have seen you at Gen Con. We should all get our usernames tattooed on our foreheads so we'll know each other when we meet in the convention's heavy foot traffic. I hear that tattoo removal is a little painful, but I personally don't like the idea that a name tag puts even a pin hole in my devastatingly chic shirts.

Last year all of us at Monte Cook's boards got together and got t-shirts with our names and a logo. Worked well to ID people. (Though you only got one, maybe two shots at wearing it (if you did laundry).) We also had little stickers for the bottoms of our badges with our board names. Worked okay, but you had to look down at people's badges.

Okay, fine. A handful of board regulars have met me in real life. That's what I get for relying on my memory. ;D

I don't know what a dropbear attack is, but I'm also pretty sure I don't WANT to know. ;D

That's kinda creepy, as we have the same first name, middle name, and birthday (November 20th- although I was born around ten years later.).

Anyway, I don’t play too many games, but when I do…it matters. Sometimes it matters too much and I get visits. At first it seemed fine enough, but upon closer inspection, I had the feeling that I was in for trouble.

Throwing the paranoia aside, going for a same dress, new day existence, my day was shook when I discovered that Bruno was the same but different. It could always have been worse.

Stepping outside that evening I was shocked by a strange sight. My path, blocked by an enormous spider, forced me to stay on the porch where a colony of wasps looked me over. Just in time, my indigo amigo showed up and fought the wasps back. Using the all-powerful Beak of the Grackle, the indigo amigo put the wasp threat down, and we went along out way.

The End
