What are the chances of getting more Arcana Evolved in stock?

I can't seem to find this outside of people charging an arm and a leg for it. It is out-of-print or just out-of-stock (everywhere!)??

Hey Ben:

The best I can tell, Arcana Evolved is out of print and there are no plans to reprint it that I can find out about.

That is bad news for me if my 3rd party seller doesn't come up w/ the goods after all. I fear having to pay an exorbitant price for this, but I want it very badly. Maybe I'll try and contact White Wolf to see about the chances for another print run.

Thanks Lisa.

If money is a factor, you might consider getting the PDF from one of the online RPG retailers. It definitely isn't my own preference, but for some books I might not use as much or just plain don't have room (or funds) for, I'm picking up some of these PDFs to avoid paying $$$ for the print copy.

I'm fortunate that money isn't a factor, but unfortunate that it seems to be available nowhere any longer. If it were only 20-30 pp, like a module, I'd consider a pdf. But this is over 400 pp. I might have to get gouged online to get a print copy before all this is through...

Thanks for the response, though. I think you responded to a similar post of my mine in the recent past, w/ the same suggestion for the pdf.

The game stores in both Sarasota and Bradenton Florida both have had the same copies of Arcana Evolved since it first came out and nobody has bought them. I guess it depends on the area you are in. Too bad I can't afford it right now.

Well, I think I might have scored a copy in a Canadian game store online. I'm hoping it's the 2nd, 2006 printing, which I believe incorporates errata (not to be confused w/ the pdf errata that came out this month).

But thanks for the tip!

FYI, I just read a post over at Monte's forums where other people were asking about this. Apparently Monte & Sue are "exploring" the possibility of a reprint of AE (presumably incorporating the errata that just came out this month).

I did find a copy to order online (in Canada!), but if it does ever get reprinted, I'd buy another copy and give my 1st copy to a buddy.
