I know there was a question as to why item cards and the like didn't have a promo in dragon, and the answer was that then it would have to be WotC property (or something like that) does that mean now that wizards is gone from the name we may see promo cards packaged in or as tear outs or something?
I think you might be a little confused. We couldn't make item cards for specific items in Dungeon adventures due to rights reasons. Inserting cards in the magazines, however, wasn't a rights issue—for the most part, it was a limitation of our printer, in that only certain sizes and kinds of inserts worked with their machinery.
We don't have immediate plans to include that sort of thing in Pathfinder, though, not so much because of printer limitations, but because that would require us to somehow seal in the item to prevent it from being stolen, and that's trickier with a book than a magazine. (People are open to buying magazines in bags, but they usually want to see what's inside a book before they buy it.)
