What happens now to the AP messageboards?

With WotC pulling the licenses and owning the rights to Greyhawk, will Paizo be allowed to continue the boards for Shackled City and the rest? Also, does Paizo own the copyright to "Adventure Path"?

From what I've read Vic saying in other threads it sounds like the AP messageboards here will stay up.

I think we own the trademark for Adventure Path, but I'm not entirely sure. Vic can confirm fur shur, but he's in Vegas at GTS right now.

Was that a burn? If so, it was kinda harsh. ;P

No way was it a burn. Now that all the higher-ups are out of town for GAMA, coup season has once again begun at Paizo. Like Al Haig, I'm in charge. Yup.

Of course, I don't make any decisions while I'm in charge. It's easier that way.

Looks like you guys just got it in... darn I should have snatched it and then sued you for every last adventure secret you have!

ummm did not find that Pathfinder was trademarked by Paizo however. Maybe it just has not made its way to the internet database yet... oh never mind I just read the fine type at the bottom. It's not a Regsistered Trademark. Guys I would get that registered if I were you...

RPG Superstar 2008 Top 32

What happened to the AP trademark? It's now listed as Abandoned as of Jan 26, 2008.

mmm that is interesting and the TM notice at the bottom is gone. So I assume then that Paizo is no longer willing to go through the hassle of fighting to keep Adventure Path Trademarked. So I would also assume it is open for general use.
