THANK YOU, SO MUCH!

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I just want to say thank you to Paizo for not only keeping their adventures alive even without Dungeon but also using the same excellent writers for Pathfinder!

I will definitely be checking this out. So far, it looks like James Jacobs, Wolfang Baur, Richard Pett, Steve Greer, and Nicolas Logue are just the tip of the iceberg of great writers who will be sticking around to write for Pathfinder.

Thank goodness.

I agree. I would have bought a book (for any setting) with a lineup like that on the cover. (I bought Dungeonscape because of the Paizo staff, and I wasn't disappointed) But toss in Eric and the rest of the Paizo crew plus Reynolds art.... I can't way for my first issue of Pathfinder.

*I need to start a new thread to rave about the art, lol

A few years back (as the Age of Worms was brewing on the horizon) I noticed that my longtime subscription to Dungeon was getting better and better. Every issue was full of cool ideas and monsters, the plots grew thicker, the role-playing was spicier. At the same time I noticed a few authors were providing the awesome. Logue, Vaughan, Pett, and Greer kept showing up. I thought back to an editorial by Erik Mona where he mentioned that the authors are a big selling point and should be on the cover. At the time I scoffed, but now, I'm 99% sure that I will be rolling over into pathfinder.

Those four guys (and James Jacobs) are the reason.

Erik was right, I'm following the talent. Thank you for providing some of my favorite gaming experiences.
