This is probably too early for you to know the answer, but:
My local mail service has been pretty rough on my copies of Dungeon & Dragon over the years (e.g., the April Dragon looked like it had been on the floor at a "Dancing With The Stars" rehearsal), so I'm a little concerned about how my $18-a-month Pathfinder might come out.
So, when you guys say "envelope" and "parcel", what kind of envelopes & parcels are we talking about? Also, will we be able to change the method? (If, for example, it turns out that my local USPS seems to think "parcel" is French for "hockey puck".)
And, on another subject entirely, will subscribers get PDFs of every issue?
Finally -- good luck, folks. I hope things work out.
(Man, I'm going to miss Dork Tower, Nodwick, & Order of the Stick. Yeah, they're all online, but it's not like the creators are going to add more editions...)

If you've ever ordered a back issue from us, you've probably seen the packaging we're using for Pathfinder—it's a stiff cardboard mailer. And yes, you can choose other shipping methods, depending on your location.

Yep!

Vic,
I chose 'Parcel' for my shipping method for Pathfinder. Is this the 'stiff cardboard mailer' you're referring to? Given the high quality of the product, I would prefer to have the least hazardous packaging possible (short of paying $500 a month to have Erik hand-deliver it to me in a metal suitcase filled with bubble wrap, of course).

Regardless of the shipping method you choose, it's the same mailer. (If you've ever ordered a couple of backissues from us, and it didn't come in a box with other stuff, you've seen this mailer. It's not the paper envelopes that replacement issues are mailed in, though—just paid back issues.)
