Okay, first of all, good luck on the new magazine, guys. I'll be completely honest here, I have never even so much as picked up an issue of Dungeon or Dragon magazine but I support Paizo for it's outstanding integrity, customer loyalty, and general good-naturedness enough that I would like to chip in to help get your new magazine off to a good start.
My question, then, is: What can I do to help Pathfinder take off (besides subscribing, obviously)? I've never submitted anything to your company and couldn't even begin to guess at what is needed or wanted for this new venture you're embarking on. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would like to chime in too with another question. What about a subscription to the Gamemastery line of products? I know I will be subscribing to Pathfinder.
Good questions! We have a page called What Can I Do to Help? and I would start by reading there. If we didn't cover something on that page, let us know here!

I´m absolutely stunned and would never have expected that development, especially with the success Dungeon and Dragon had in the last few years...
I think I´ll need a while to chew on this - I´m quite dumbfounded at the moment. My first thought was "What???", my second was "If that isn´t a herald of a 4th Ed, what else could it be?", and my third is "I´ll miss printed magazines."
I´m quite confused now.

Well, Josh, thanks for the link but I was really looking for information about how I can contribute to Pathfinder itself, not how I can buy it. ;)
I'm interested in finding out what you guys need (if anything at this point) and what the criteria for submitting articles will be. Thanks!

Funny, my reaction was only slightly different.
1) WHAT?! Lame joke, guys.
2) Crap, not a joke, I'm going to miss these magazines.
3) Huh, maybe there's some meat to all the 4E rumors after all, this sounds like a step in that direction.

My heart is broken; my two favorite magazines are dead. Like Fatespinner, I have nothing but praise for you Paizo folk. I hope Pathfinder is a glorious success, but I'll dearly miss the diversity of shorter, non-AP adventures that made DUNGEON the richest source of adventure material ever published.
Is there room for authors, artists, and cartographers who are not James, Wayne, or Christopher to contribute to Pathfinder? Can we get involved directly in the creative process in some fashion? If not, do you envision any other venues for those of us driven to create?

From the FAQ:
How can I submit material for publication in Pathfinder?
Pathfinder is going to need monsters, and lots of them, and they're the easiest way to break in to this exciting new publication. If we like your monster, we'll print it in an upcoming Pathfinder Bestiary; it may even end up with a role in that volume's adventure! We're currently discussing other ways to open up Pathfinder so that we'll have room for fan-submitted articles and content; stay tuned to paizo.com/Pathfinder for details and submission guidelines as they become available.

Sending well-concealed cash to your favorite art director is always a good choice!
Single malt scotch works too.
