As many of you will have no doubt noticed, we have some talented and creative DMs who are running some cool original adventures as Play by Post games on these boards.
I am not one of those DMs – well, talented and creative I hope, but not that original. Being quite time poor, I’ve long relied on published adventures, such as the excellent ones found in the pages of Dungeon Magazine to help me out, and see me through many a game.
Given that we’re all here on the Paizo messageboards, I thought it entirely appropriate to run a PBP game here based on adventures from Dungeon mag.
As such, I plan to run a game set in my homebrew world, on the continent of Anzeria, based quite extensively on material from Dungeon, wrapped into a (hopefully) cohesive whole with bits and pieces of my own design. Most of the Dungeon adventures that I would use would be from issues between numbers 50 and 100, with perhaps some bits and pieces drawn from earlier or later issues.
I will be looking for five players who will enjoy role playing in a rather gritty “dark ages” style fantasy setting. Ideally, players should either not have access to Dungeon Magazine, or be willing and able to put aside any meta-game knowledge in the interest of a fun role-playing experience.
If you’re interested, please post on this thread, or on the Age of Darkness Discussion thread in the Play by Post discussion section.

I might be interested in joining in if there is another open slot. If there is someone who would be able to post more often (I am somewhat busy at the moment) then I'll step aside but if not, count me in. When woudl it start? Has it already started? Am I little behind the times?
Hey Arctaris. Well, I've always got time for someone who's DMing me in another game!
No, we haven't started yet, we will start once I have all the players firmed up and characters created - perhaps early next week? So far I have had five people express interest, but I'm not sure if they're all in yet, only two people have done character backgrounds and/or created characters.
Let me know if you are interested, and if you've got character ideas in mind, I may be able to sqeeze you in. My preference is for five players, I'd prefer not to go six.
By the way, I'm really enjoying Grimmbold Manor so far, one of the reasons I decided to run this game.
