Lightless Depths is a little vague on what happens to the trog heretic Irgzid once ther PCs meet up with the aboleth about mid-way throught the module. So vague in fact that I can find no mention of him whatsoever!
Now I happen to love the little guy, so what do you think should happen to him once his role as guide expires? The obvious idea would be for the PCs to adopt him as a cohort, but his CE demeanor might make that a little difficult.

What happens to him is left up to the DM (and to a certain extent, the PCs). The adventure assumes nothing about him, but it's doubtful that, if he learns the truth about his "patron," he'll hang around long. He probably slinks of into the caves the first chance he gets.
Adopting him as a cohort's an interesting idea, but he IS chaotic evil. He's pretty depraved, actually. He's just the lesser of the evils at the time the PCs meet him.

I kind of like the idea of Irgzid returning to the Trogs' encampment in style with the PCs and bringing evidence that the Koprus were betraying the Troglodytes all along. With evidence and escorts in tow, he could easily becoming the new high priest/king.
Afterwards, the Troglodyte settlement and Farshore could set up a trading alliance; this would function as a great precursor to enemy of my enemies and show that sometimes working with the lesser evil turns out to benefit everyone.
