I was just reading the Star Trek thread and it reminded me of when Buffy ended and my friends and I were discussing what should have happened next for the Buffyverse.
I remember I thought it would be really cool to have a series that went throught time, each episode about a different Slayer, starting from the cave-girl First Slayer and ending with Buffy discovering her powers.
I really liked the flashback episodes, like when Spike killed the Chinese Slayer in the 19th century. There's so much potential, but I get the feeling only I think that the "Slayers through History" would be a cool series. Anyway, just wanted to share that with the Paizonians coz I think it would have been cool.

*probably* better than the idea for a post-Buffy spin-off that I came up with...
See, Giles, Oz and Spike get together and form a band right, bringing along Willow, Anya and Xander as groupies / back-up singers. They drive around the country in a van (well, Spike's usually on his own in his sun-protected car), doing gigs, solving mysteries, fighting big-bads.
How cool would that be?
But ok, kahoolin's idea probably has more merit to it...

You all do know that in March, Joss Whedon is basically writing Season 8 of Buffy in comic book form? He is writing several issues along with some of the better writers from the old series (Jane Epenson, Doug Petrie, etc.). It will be written as a complete season and picks up just a few months after the TV series ended.
I've already reserved my copies and I'm not usually a comic book person!

Yeah, I happened to pick up Buffy magazine (or whatever its called) in Borders a couple of weeks ago, flipped through and saw that.
Have to get my hands on the comics when they come out.
