Bluffing Aboleth with no Bluff skill?

Savage Tide Adventure Path

In issue 144 in the Savage Tide Adventure Path, the old Aboleth is described as creature, who tries to cheat the players, using whatever means necessary (like a Bluff). How does it do that, when it has no skill ranks in Bluff (using its straight CHA bonus to fool the party). Is this a glitch?

I think this is more a case of Rules vs Roleplay.

Of course I don't have my copy with me and only skimmed it (still a logn way off in my campaign), so it could be a typo or even a error!

But my first instinct is Rules vs Roleplay, what I mean is that lots of groups prefer to Roleplay things like Bluff/Diplomacy social skills etc, where as other groups prefer to use the rules and mechanics instead, neither way is the better, as can be seen with this example!

But I'm pretty sure the Aboleth being a fine manipulative giant fish thing, can pursuade some daft adventurers its the lesser of 2 evils.

Not every character is an ace at seeing through Bluffs. If no one in your party has ranks in Sense Motive, it doesn't really matter that the aboleth doesn't have ranks in Bluff. Further, the fact is that part of what the aboleth wants the PCs to do IS the "right way" to solve the adventure, so not everything that it says is actually a bluff. Plus, if the PCs don't seem to be concerned with what it's saying and aren't suspicious at all, there's no need for a Bluff check in the first place.

In any case, the adventure works just as well if the PCs don't fall for the aboleth's deception.

The Stat Block on page 50-51 claims N'glothnoru(great name for Aboleth) is a memory eater granting it the ability to use any skill!Untrained.
