Hi there,
This doesn't apply to me in any immediate sort of way as I still have 6 issues left in both of my subscriptions with you guys, but I wanted to ask you when I should renew my subscriptions so that I don't have a lapse in recieving issues. I have enjoyed both subscriptions so much that I am already sure I want to renew when the time comes, but I wasn't sure when exactly that should be. This question might also be helpful to anyone who has a subscription ending sometime soon. Thanks in advance for the great customer service and the fantastic job you guys do!!!

Well, to be honest, the best answer to your question is going to be "Now".
The short answer is to check your remaining issues online and renew online NOW, or at least when you have 6 or fewer issues remaining.
The long answer:
There is a very long lead time between when we process subscription orders for a particular issue and when that issue actually comes out. For example, we've just finished processing all the orders for Dungeon 145, the April 2007 issue, which is slated to hit newsstands on March 14. For every issue we process ALL of the orders that we have received up to that point. Any orders received before this point are getting the issue, any received after will not.
So, especially if you renew through the mail, you will always be more likely to avoid missing issues by renewing earlier rather than later. Subscribers will receive a notice in their third-to, second-to, and last issues that it is time to renew. But with the vagaries of the postal service and the sometimes erratic delivery times, this system is imperfect and the resubscription deadline can come and go before we receive your mailed in notice.
It is best to resubscribe using the website. This cuts out the postal service altogether and your subscription order is processed immediately for the next issue.
Our system is designed to "stack" subscriptions so renewals do not begin until the current subscription runs out (though it does sometimes go ary), and there is no limit to the number of subscriptions that can be "stacked" like this. And even if our system fails to stack the subscriptions and you start getting multiples, you just have to notify us. It is very simple to fix and you will not be charged issues. However if you miss an issue due to a lapsed subscription, you have to purchase it separately as a back issue at full cover price.

I hope this clears things up a bit for you! : )
