So, how have the fights against Kyuss gone?

For those who have gotten there...how nasty have the fights been? Did they defeat the wormgod?

My PCs are at the base of the great Spire. This Friday they face of with the greatest Kyuss Knight, Lashonna, Kyuss, and their worst fears.

Well, my players and I had a marathon session for the new spire.

The Fight against Kyuss itself ended up taking 3 hours. At one point in time half the party had died (they are lucky to have that philosiphers stone on hand) and the other 2 were desperately trying to keep the wormgod at bay.

Eventually they finished him off just as Kyuss' summoned minions were about to tilt the scales against them for what would likely have been the final time.

My players have just reached the final adventure and I'm very interested to see how they fair against Kyuss. Dragotha wasn't too tough with Balacarde's help and I'm hoping Kyuss gives them a better run for their money.

It may be helpful if people put down also how weakened Kyuss was when they fought him, and what (if any) artifacts they used.

Kyuss is dead, and the Material Plane has been saved. Using heavy-handed tactics, our Kyuss fight took about ten minutes and three rounds. Details can be found in the Campaign Journals section by yours truly.
