Well, my players and I had a marathon session for the new spire.

The Fight against Kyuss itself ended up taking 3 hours. At one point in time half the party had died (they are lucky to have that philosiphers stone on hand) and the other 2 were desperately trying to keep the wormgod at bay.

Eventually they finished him off just as Kyuss' summoned minions were about to tilt the scales against them for what would likely have been the final time.

Great work!

For my players, one set of moments that had a huge impact was during HoHR. The encounters with the dopplegangers really messed with them (especially in the mirror maze)

I had the party seperated by one of the wall traps and proceeded to turn them against each other. The shugenja to this day (They start Dawn of a New Age this weekend) still makes a daily check on the party to ensure that they have not been infiltrated. :D

Well, today is go day for Big D.

I ended up grabbing the FF VII Advent children version of "One Winged Angel" to open up with and several tunes from the Lunar2 Eternal Blue soundtrack.

Worked out awesome.

This weekend my players are going to enter the Tabernacle of Worms.

I was wondering if any of ya could suggest a particular piece of music (or compilation of songs) for the fight with Big D.
