I have a question regarding ordering a magazine subscription from amazon.com. Is there any way that that order would be connected to my paizo account, so that you would know when my current subscription ends? In other words, I know that if I order it here, it adds 12 issues to my current subscription. I'm worried that if I order it from amazon before my current subscription ends, they might start sending them out too soon and I'll get doubles of some issues.
I'd normally just order from paizo, but I got an amazon gift card for Christmas that I'd like to use.

If we receive the subscription order and the address appears *exactly* as it does on the mailing label of your magazine, then it will most likely get properly attached. The further the address we receive from Amazon varies from the address we have, the more likely the subscription will get doubled. (Actually, we don't get the address directly from Amazon, they send subscriptions to us through an intermediary subscription service - YMYK!)
If your renewal should get processed as a new subscription, though, all you need to do is let us know when you receive doubles and we can properly attach the subs after the fact.
We'll even reimburse your subscription for the doubled issue (in nearly every case), because we're just awesome like that.
However, Amazon does use an intermediary. That means that your subscription order is processed by Amazon, then sent to the intermediary. Then the intermediary processes the order and sends it to us (in the mail). Finally we process your subscription order to begin with the next issue. What this means is that, while I can guarantee that we will process every order on hand before we run an issue, I cannot speak for any orders that have yet to reach my hand.
The point is: If you want to avoid missing any issues due to a lapsed subscription and you're going to renew through Amazon, do it soon. No matter how many issues are left in your subscription, do it sooner than later. We can deal with (and appreciate) an early renewal but if your subscription lapses for an issue, you just miss that issue and you have to purchase it as a back issue - for the cover price.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,

I give up. I spent a bit of time looking it up. Does YMYK, in this case, mean "as the days of olam" or "in the days of old". If this is it, I congratulate on the use of an, at least for me, obscure Hebrew word. Otherwise, what does it mean?

Heh heh... oops.
Whatcha got there is yer average, garden-variety TYPO-graphical error... Yup, and a right nasty one, too.
I imagine that the acronym might have been more clear if I had spelt it rite. It makes better sense if it's written: "TMYK!"
hehe.
