Liberty's Edge

Has anybody ever thought about using Santa Claus in a game?
I mean, they have St. Cuthbert, why not St. Nick? And he was in that Narnia movie.
I was thinking, he could have 8 celestial perytons, and come along at a crucial point and give the party magic items to aid their quest, and like, inspire hope and courage.

And a drunk Easter Bunny could hire the PCs to off the jolly old fella!

Hope and courage? This is D&D, man, you can't be givin' your players hope! :P

Liberty's Edge

Not even to set them up to be dashed against the rocks of futility?

Scarab Sages

He could be a demipower of discipline for children. His domains would be Community, Elf, Law, and Wrath.

I'd replace his "elves" with gnomes, though, I do believe.

Wrath?

I think you must have Jolly ol'St. Nick confused with Pere Fouettard, or the Krampus.

Woah. I love starting cheesy threads only to learn very cool stuff that I never even heard of. Good links.

Or maybe they could be elf subrace with different stats...

Santa's elf ranger wielding double scimitars is a character concept which deserves to happen.

NO MORE ELVEN SUB RACES,

Gnomes is a cool idea (very appropriate)

How about Santa as a Vampire
Never ages, only comes out at night
Gaseous form up and down chimneys
The milk and cookies never get eaten

Nahh, it was just the only one I could think of that would fit with him punishing bad children. You know, the old lump of coal routine.

Silver Crusade

Vampire Santa sounds cool. He would make a great BBEG.

Call the adventure "Santa's Slay".

He wields a spiked chain to trip people and then uses his energy drain to finish them off and spawn them into Santa thralls (i.e. elves).

That was punishment?

I have th d20 book Faeries by Bastion Press, written by Bryon Wischstadt.

Included are the stats for a lot of fantasy-faerie creatures, including ...
Jack Frost
Old Man Winter
and ....
The Holly King (aka Kris Kringle, Santa Claus).

The book made Santa a male human Wiz 7/ Rog 6 / Rgr 6, by the way.

Ho, ho, ho.

I would have thrown in some Assassin levels for Death Attack.

Actually, it's Black Pete who gets the assassin levels -- a stick and a lump of coal, too.
