DnD Boardgame Bundle-23 Days and counting...

I hate to be the kid in the back seat screaming "Are we there yet," but after 23 days of waiting for my order,and the last response to my question,in my other post, was "In this case, we're waiting for the final shipment of the Dungeons & Dragons Board Game to arrive (which should be any day now)." was 13 days ago, I am just wondering what is up with this.I know that you have no control over slow boats from Europe and all that, but any word on my order would by appreciated.

Hi Robert:

We know the boat left England almost a month ago. It usually takes about 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. So whenever we ask the shipping company when will our shipment arrive, they say, any day now. They have been saying that for 10 days or so.

Basically, it is going to get here when it gets here and there is no way for us to know when that is. We will get a phone call 1 hour before it shows up at our warehouse. And that should be...wait for it...any day now. :)

Actually, we just got an update from the shipping company—the ship arrived in Los Angeles last night; assuming it goes smoothly through Customs, we should be getting the games into our warehouse in about 10 days.

Hi there. If I order one of these sets today, is it reasonable to assume that I'll receive it by Christmas? Are there still unsold units in this shipment?

Yes to both, though there aren't a whole lot of copies of the base game that aren't already spoken for.

I saw today that my Board Game Bundle is still marked as "Backordered". Did the games arrive in your warehouse yet?

No, they haven't arrived yet. And since Paizo's closed through Sunday for Thanksgiving, they won't arrive until next week at the earliest.

I got a call from the shipper yesterday that said the games were indeed on the dock in Seattle, but they were short one essential piece of paperwork. I sent him the necessary bits, and I havn't heard back if he needs more...and the, the snow struck. As of right now pretty much the entire Puget Sound metro area from border to border is shut down due to ice and snow the likes of which they haven't seen around here in decades.

So, once more, we wait a bit :-)

They were supposed to arrive today, so Christmas shouldn't be a problem.
