Pirates of the Caribbean, obviously - nothing does better at setting the fantasy-seafaring-game mood.
I watched Master and Commander - The Far Side of the World the other night, and that's great for getting the feel of what it's like to live and work aboard an old-fashioned sailing ship, even if the ships in question are somewhat later-period and larger than the Sea Wyvern. It also provides some great examples of ship-to-ship combat, including some clever tactics that could easily be employed by a savvy adventuring party (the decoy ship is particularly neat, and could be accomplished using illusion spells by a D&D party).

What would you have your players watch to get in the Savage Tide mood?
Ever considered a film night to set the tone?
Film night would be fun to do just before starting the campaign... maybe watch the PotC movies, or The Princess Bride.
Actually another one that might be fun to watch and has some sea travel is Erik the Viking... one of my old favourites.

One of the things I did in the Savage Tide outline that I sent to our authors was to include one or two movies to help inspire the writer. Those movies are:
There Is No Honor: Pirates of the Carribean, Fritz Leiber's Lankhmar stories
The Bullywug Gambit: Die Hard
The Sea Wyvern's Wake: Master & Commander, The Lost Continent
Here There Be Monsters: Predator, Lost, Agiuire, the Wrath of God
Tides of Dread: King Kong
The Lightless Depths: Aliens, Lovecraft movies
City of Broken Idols: Raiders of the Lost Ark
Serpents of Scuttlecove: Se7en
Into the Maw: The Count of Monte Cristo
Prince of Demons: Saving Private Ryan (but the version set on the Abyss)
I couldn't really come up with good movies for Wells of Darkness or Enemies of My Enemy, alas...
