I'm trying to place Sasserine's history into Eberron, but I'm not familiar with the Greyhawk calendar. Does anyone know what the "current" year is in Greyhawk, so I can figure out how many years ago certain events occurred? (e.g. the Scarlet Brotherhood assassinated the Sea Princes in 584 CY - how long ago was that?)

Current Greyhawk year would be 594--the freeing of Sasserine happened 10 years prior. You should be able to backdate everything from there.
The campaign references the Wormfall Festival, celebrating the defeat of Kyuss. Taking the Age of Worms campaign to have begun in 594 CY (which I think is mentioned somewhere, so it's sort of official), I'd add at least a year. Maybe more.
My two cents,
Jack

Technically, if one sets 594 as the start of AoW, then you'd have to add 2 years, and probably another year if one used SC (the Wormfall Festival is noted as occuring one year after Kyuss's defeat).
However, neither has ever occured in my campaign so I don't take them into account. I replaced the Wormfall Festivall with a celebration of the city's emancipation (which seemed much more appropriate). Also, the Sasserine Backdrop notes the timeframe from emancipation to current day as a decade. Of course, they may have intended that as "a little over a decade" but I didn't take it as such.

I believe ST is supposed to take place in 596 CY. Looking through the archives, I see at least one post by James Jacobs on the matter:
Savage Tide takes place in 596 CY, I believe.
There is another post (in another thread) that makes this note, however:
Based on the journals from the playtest group, Erik is running his game in 595 CY. That is also when I set my game, which we started tonight.
So, I guess it's really up to you. Personally, were I playing in Greyhawk, I'd stick with 596 CY, as that's the current Living Greyhawk year, but that doesn't necessarily need to factor into your own campaign.

Actually if I were to run it, I'd start in 591 CY so it would much up with the info in the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer--the actual LG campaign went in crazy directions (like the ether-creature invasion) I'd never consider in my campaign. GH ranks down on my list (after Mystara, Eberron, and FR, in that order) so it's unlikely I'd run anything there, but it might be nice some time to not have to convert everything around from the baseline of the 3.X books.

Hm- Like you, I don't really play in Greyhawk, so I haven't really kept up with the LGH campaign, aside from knowing where they are in the current timeline. Didn't know they'd done some weird things with the campaign- makes me want to check it out now, though. :)

Yeah, a group of ether creatures tried invading from the Duchy of Tenh area--that was back 2-3 years ago and right about the time I dropped out. Last year they were doing some things with the Bright Desert/Robilar/Rary that looked much more interesting, but I'd then been out of the campaign for so long it wasn't enough to draw me back in...the paperwork aspect was a bit too much for me as well. I did write several Yeomanry modules before dropping out, however.
