This is very much a "new poster" introduction.
Ok, where to begin? Well first, im a long time friend of Grimcleaver, and it was his idea i post - if you like\hate his opinions and views, there's a strong possibility you'll like\hate mine as well - we tend to have the same ideal's when it comes to Rp'ing and Character Generation.
those ideal's i can go into in depth, but it would take a while.
Although my gamemastering style is very very different.
Favorite games include Legend of the Five Rings, Forgotten Realms (which i love), a couple of White Wolf games (Demon, and Hunter), Spycraft (modern military games are hard to come by), Star Wars D20 (im a rabid SW fan), 1st Ed Exalted (anything past the Solar book is crap), Cyberpunk (gotta love the grit) and a few other misc games - but i mostly like to come up with my own settings, of which i have a few bits.
Ive mostly come into my own as a GM recently - ask Grimcleaver to tell you about my World War 2 game somtime.
in any case - enough about me.
For one - i love the fact that there is no visible post count here - i cant tell you how many forums ive been through where a low post count stops people from listening to you.
But this site loads up pretty slow on my work comp - ermmm...not great but manageable.

Yeah, this is it. Welcome. If I had words of advice to give it's be nice to everyone all the time. This is about the most polite, well-spoken group of roleplayer guys and gals you're likely to see--but if you come off as a troll they will douse your warty butt in gasoline!
On the poll of worlds just recently (I think) someone was just raving about L5R (I can't tell you how much I'm gonna' miss that campaign by the way...*sniffle* Ah well at least Igei Taro made out like a champ!)
Anyway it's good to see you. I'm sure you'll find a bunch of buds here. As an aside you will find that low post count here actually encourages people to post--like I said helpful folks. So yeah get out there already!
well, there are a few threads for peeps to tell about their avatars or tell about themselves; and at least one for what current rpg you are playing; but i don't remember one apparently like this one about what games you tend or like to play. hmm, if I interpreted this right:
Munchkin and expansions
Settlers of Katan and expansion
Nuke War with expansions
Merchants of Venus
Illuminatii with expansions
Aquire hmm might have spelled it wrong; the hotel game
Diplomacy;
these are the games we all play a lot
also, bridge and pinochle and some spades and darts
rpg:
we play rifts; d&d every version still, paladium, white wolf games, and role master/space master; there are a couple to three of these going on weekly or biweekly at any given time.
MMorphs; our group plays and has played at one time just about everything; have a whole bookshelf of mmorph titles; currently still playing WoW on occassion on several servers and tend to play City of heroes/villains when they give me free plays; also play guild wars.
i spend a fair amount of time designing adventures for several gms or for my own game; I love making adventures and peeps love playing in them; I have never had a problem such as writers block which is cool; this stuff just leaks out of my head constantly; have to write adventures or my head may explode :)
yep; I am a game baby; will play for food lol; anytime anywhere; this work thing is my only gaming problem :)

This is a great community and you'll find lots of folks who love to talk about all forms of gaming, not just D&D (althought that's the tie that binds, of course). In addition to D&D, I'm a big fan of Call of Cthulhu, Deadlands, GURPS, and whichever Superheros game you care to play.

What he means is, he's on an anal retentive quest to ensure nobody misspells "rogue" as "rouge" on this board.
It's really rather tedious, but we do what we can to humor him.

I forgot to mention that I have developed an alchemical silver Gelatinous Cube. I call it "Silverslider"..........don't make me unleash it.

Cyberpunk! There's a call from the future of my past. Ran in a roaring GURPS hi-tech/low-life campaign, liberally enhanced with Bio-Tech, Robots, Ultra-Tech and UT2, some years ago. One of my many short-lived characters had both the Compulsive Carousing and No Physical Body disadvantages. The original brain in a jar party animal!
