Places in STAP to introduce new characters

Savage Tide Adventure Path

So, I haven't felt that useful to the STAP community as of yet as there is little to contribute yet. I probably won't run it for a very long time (well after it is completed) as I would want to finish SCAP and AoWAP first. Anyway, here is my attempt at contributing.

The first adventure makes it pretty easy to bring in any new PCs as the whole thing is a urban based adventure. The second though has the PCs out in the middle of nowhere and needs some good places to throw in a replacement PC should the group lose a few of its own.

So, please add to the list with any other ideas you have, whether they be for The Bullywug Gambit, There is No Honor or even later ones.

1) Kraken's Cove - K7 - The Slave Pens - The description of this room states that this where the pirates kept their slaves, those lucky few who survived the Savage Tide were ripped to shreds by their fellows in a ravenous frenzy. Pretty morbid stuff. If someone were the only one in their cage and happened to resist the tide then they would still live and be a viable replacement PC. Of course, you would get to have them witness the horror of the deeds their fellow inmates commit as well.

2) The Jade Ravens - The description of this band of adventurers states that it has been composed of many adventureres who have moved on as they got more powerful. With an ever changing roster it would be easy to have a new one who is grateful for the rescue, joins up with the PCs to free the hostages and then stays on with the more successful band.

Anyway... any others?

Liberty's Edge

I was thinking on the Island of Dread, you could have a missionary compound or two; ergo you could slide a cleric, paladin, crusader or even a hired fighter or any other class into the group that way.
I was thinking about having two sets of missionaries there anyway; one set sent by the Church of Pelor to show the natives the way to the light, and one from the Church of Wee Jas, there to study the natives' "Zombie Lord" magic, to add to the church's pool of knowledge arcane and occult.

Liberty's Edge

Also, from the ships' crews on the way there, good way to introduce just about any class there is.
Also, if you wanted to add aquatic pc's, there's three thousand miles on the way to the Island of Dread to meet up with them.

They could also see a signal fire on an uncharted isle on the way to the Isle of Dread.
It is the fire of [place your new p.c. here] who has been marooned for a year.
He has a nappy beard like Tom Hanks, and he's put a coconut on his 10' pole and talks to it like it's his best friend in the world.
