I have seen a few things that I find could be mistakes.
- there is a shrine dedicated to Liir : I guess it's Lirr ?
- there is a shrine dedicated to Kuroth : I guess it's Kurell (CN, common pantheon, chaos, trickery, revenge and theft) ?
- Shouldn't there be a shrine to Rudd (a friend of St Worgul) ?
- there is a shrine dedicated to Geshtai : why ? since most of the settlers were suloise, is there a shrine to a baklunish goddess ?
- Why no shrine to Phyton, Jascar or Phaulkon (all suloise gods), as well as very common gods like Beory, Ulaa, Ehlonna or Corellon Larethian ?
Thanks for your help...

You could always change the deities in your campaign to whatever you want. OR even better is come up with some explanation for why these commonly seen shrines are not here... basically come up with an in-game reason for this oddity. Maybe there was some political schism between the organized religions and ended with some of them backing out of the settlement early on.
Same with the question about the Baklunish deity having a shrine... maybe there are some rich Bakluni who've been around for a while and wanted their own shrine, or maybe some of the Suloise started worshipping her because of the nature of her domains... *shrug*
Okay, I guess I'm not being terribly helpful... I'm planning on moving it over to Eberron anyways, so I'm expecting I'm going to have to make some extensive revisions already.

St. Worgul is a ficticional creation by the church of Olidammara. She has no friends. Poor Worgul. BUT, there probably should be a shrine to Rudd in the city somewhere, since she fits right in with the city's flavor. It'd fit best in Champion District, or perhaps Azure District.
Although Sasserine has a strong Suloise flavor in religion, it's not the rule; there are plenty of missing gods who don't yet have shrines in town, simply because none of their clerics have bothered setting up shop there yet. Phyton, Ehlonna, Corellon Larethian, Beory, Ulaa, Phaulkon, and Jascar might have shrines in the civilized reaches south of the city, among the plantations, but they are all nature deities in one way or another. Sasserine's a pretty crowded, filthy city, and worshipers of nature gods like these don't look to cities to establish shrines.

Thanks James,
the whole Sasserine's background is very nice and well detailed.
I guess Beory would fit in Azure district, or just outside the city...
I was also astonished to see a temple dedicated to Procan and Xerbo, since they don't seem to like each other very much !!
I am just translating and summarizing pieces of information for my players, and it was SO difficult not to write Olidammara anywhere;
The St Worgul's idea is really really GREAT and VERY FUN!!!

On a seedier note, Syrul might have a presence in Sasserine. The plants from the Scarlet Brotherhood might include some of her devotees. You'd likely find a small shrine to the goddess hidden somewhere in the thieves' quarter.

One thing to remember is that, while worship of a given deity might predominate in a given area, other rival faiths will likely have a presence. I can see a temple of St Cuthbert in Cudgel, with shrines in Champion's. Likewise, Champion's might even have a clandestine shrine to Wee Jas. etc. and so on.
I'd assume Cudgel has a large number of small shrines. This would be esp true of the Merchant District (and likely Azure as well). If you want a shrine to a deity, there is enough justification for it being in Sass...

Thanks EP !!
That's just what I did : almost all Suel gods (good & neutral only) have a shrine somewhere in Sass, and I added also a shrine To Beory, Ehlonna & a few others (Rudd !)...
I should read all of that Olidammara article, 'cause I have not seen reference to Kuroth !

Out of curiosity... why? Why would you have almost all the gods? Why would only the good and neutral ones be present? Just being a devil's advocate...

*********** MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS ***********
Have more gods (in a world where there are about a hundred or more human gods, not speaking about dwarves, orcs, elves...) seems logical to me, especially suel gods since Sasserine was founded by suels, and major gods (Boccob, Istus, Pelor & Rao being present, I just added Beory, and dropped Incabulos, & Nerull ; there are only 7 major gods in this world, so why no Beory in Sass ??).
However, I did not add every Oeridian, Flannae, Baklunish, Olman, or Touv gods !!!
And being a NG city, evil cults, when they exist in Sass, are hidden..., including the suel ones : no official shrine for evil Suel (Beltar, Pyremius, Syrul); Likewise I did not add Vatun, this god being long forgotten except in the Brotherhood).
And no Olman shrine !!
Then, I also decided the human mix (among the 77% of the total population) was :
- Suel : 74%
- Oeridian : 16%
- Flan : 5%
- Olman : 5%
- Baklunish : 1%
- Rhennee : 0,5%
- Touv : 0,5%
meaning that 0,5% of the human population has strong Rhennee or touv features, but most of the humans are of mixed blood !!
I just wanted to add a stronger GH flavour, with more gods and details ...

The shrines to Lirr and Kurell got infested by typos. OR you could just say the're local variant spellings?
Kurell: lesser god (CN) of jealousy, revenge, and theft.
Kuroth: hero-god (CN) of theft and treasure-finding.Koruth is sponsored by Olidammara. I think Koruth is right. I say stick with Koruth. Kurell would work, though.

Kuroth appeared in The Blood of Heroes by Sean K. Reynolds, Fred Weining, and Erik Mona in the LGJ #3.
You can find a summary of him in the LG Deities document from the RPGA.
Thanks...
I was able to get a grab on LGJ 0 and 3 to 5, so I'll look through n°3.Still looking for n°1 & 2, and they're still not available here for download !!

I'm playing a cleric in the STAP, and I'm currently in the process of creating my character. I was just wondering exactly what dieties are present in Sasserine according to the information already present. My DM hasn't been able to give me a list yet, and this weekend may be my only chance to create a character before we start playing.

Have you downloaded the Savage Tide Player's Guide yet? (Probably best to check with your DM first to make sure it's approved player material in his game). You'll find that it includes information on all the major faiths represented in the city.
