I just wanted to take a minute to really thank everyone at Paizo and James Jacobs in particular for the Savage Tide Adventure Path. I played in the Age of Worms as a player, but I had never run an adventure path as a DM. So the Savage Tide is my first time on that side of the DM screen for an AP. I have to say WOW!!! There is no Honor, has already given me two of the best gaming sessions I have ever DMed. The art work is fabulous, and James Jacobs really knows how to make an evocative adventure. My players are having a blast, and I have to admit, that from an entertainment perspective I am getting more bang for my entertainment dollar than I think I could get from anything else.
I am a fairly experienced DM, but on my best days, I could never come up with an adventure that really has something for every type of player and that can engage my players so well. We are only one adventure in, but I have to say that STAP is already a smashing success for my group. You guys are the best!!! I knew when I got my subscription to the magazine that it was a good choice, but now I think it was a spectaculor choice. I know word of mouth advertising doesn't bring as much revenue to you guys as the stuff from companies in your mag, but I have told all my friends and my entire gaming group that they should get a subscription to both Dungeon and Dragon magazines. If this is the quality we can expect in the rest of the STAP, then I can't wait to see what the next 12 months is going to bring.

You can't say it any better than that!
Well said, indeed!
I must be honest, the Age of Worms didn't fire my imagination or enthusiasm as a DM, but the overview and first adventure of STAP has me absolutely convinced that when we finish Shackled City, I will immediately begin Savage Tide!

I wasn't crazy about Age of Worms either, but the first episode of The Savage Tide has blown me away. This is one of the best adventures I've ever read in Dungeon. I knew, after reading the Savage Tide preview in #138 that this campaign was going to be something special and the concept art really captured my imagination. I've only ever bought the occasional issue of Dungeon off the rack, but after seeing the Savage Tide preview I had to subscribe - I just couldn't risk missing an issue. There is No Honor has lived up to all my expectations. I haven't played it yet, but I can't wait to get this campaign started.

I have to admit, I really liked "Champion's Belt" and especially "Wormcrawl Fissure," too. I used the latter as part of an ongoing campaign (not as part of the AoW), and it was a big hit. (Those were my 1st two issues of DUNGEON, convincing me beyond any doubt that a subscription would be well worth the price. Mr. Mona and Mr. Jacobs both really set the bar high.) "Savage Tide" is even more reason to rejoice.

Gets my vote :) From what I have seen in 139/140, and 348, plus the Players Guide (which I ordered from Paizo) it looks fun. Who am I kidding, it looks great :)
So much so we are going to go straight from AP1 to AP3 :) It makes sense anyway, my current party come from Sasserine. They are also looking forward to playing a party of chaotics and be salty sea dogs, I envisage a whole multiverse of Cap'n Jack Sparrow clones/homages forming everywhere.
The only problem I have, and there little to be done about it really, is because everything is in in seperate periodical magazines and PDFs it can get physically unweildly to carry about. Given the amount of extra information available thus far it does appear then when issue 12 is done this really needs to be made into a hardback ASAP :)
Anyway, thanks for this, it's re-invogorated my AP1 campaign with the info on Sasserine and a desire to get into AP3 :)
