Where online can I find the 3.5 info about creating a cleric of osprem? I need a list of domains, allowed weapons, skills, etc...

Thanks!

That info lives in the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer or in Complete Divine.

The basic details are:

Alignment: LN
Portfolio: ships, sea voyages, sailors
Domains: Law, Protection, Travel, Water
Favored Weapon: trident

My cleric just needs to know what extra skills he gets. He chose 'water' as one of his domains. We're thinking of swim, wilderness lore, and climb. Yes, no?

Extra skills from where? I won't say that having Swim, Survival, and perhaps Use Rope wouldn't make sense with for a cleric of a Sea god, but nothing in the Water domain grants any extra skills. However, if as DM you were to do so, balance would indicate that the player would then not receive the ability to turn fire creatures and rebuke water creatures.

Also - wilderness lore? You mean Survival, right?

Sorry, we have 3.0 & 3.5 player handbooks floating around here. Anyway, under "domains and class skills" a cleric gets an extra skill or three depending on what domain they choose. So, what extra skills would a cleric of Osprem with the water and protection domains get?

Only a few domains grant extra skills. Protection and Water aren't among those skills. In the core rules, the only domains that grant extra skills are Animal, Knowledge, Plant, Travel, and Trickery.

It'd be an interesting house rule to associate skills with domains, though (althoguh this kinda robs those domains listed above of their "cool"). With this house rule, I'd suggest Water would grant Swim and Protection would grant Survival.

On the Living Greyhawk page, there's a link ("Living Greyhawk Deities v.2.0" in the sidebar) to a zipped PDF of about a zillion Greyhawk deities, including all three of the Azure Cathedral.

Travel grants Survival. So does Weather, which Procan receives in the Living Greyhawk Deitiess v.2.0. The Procan in Stormwrack gives Procan a new Domain, too, "Storm" iirc.

Whoops, my bad, this thread is about Osprem.

We have a cleric of Osprem- going to become a divine Inquisitor
We also have a fighter who is going to become a knight of the chalice- as a servent of the church.
hehehe- then there is the holy assassin- sort of the dominican of the group.
and finally a gnome war mage- the only chaotic in the party.

I just ended up giving him Swim as a free skill. He's a dwarven cleric that served on ships as a healer previous to his new adventuring career and figured he'd need swim for the campaign. Thanks for your help!
